Longer Rides
Boscawen to Andover and back 38 miles. Park at the Boscawen Park and Ride. Take the paved path down from the parking lot to the Trail Kiosk. Walk to the left if you want to visit the Hannah Dustin Memorial. A right will take you to the start of the trail just off River Road. You'll ride mostly "uphill" at a railroad grade to Andover. There's no food service or store at Hightland Lake so this is a great ride for a picnic. Choose either a picnic table right along the trail by the fire department or hop off the trail and onto Channel Road to Chaffee Park Beach for a picnic table with a view of the lake. If you need water stop by Highland Lake Inn to refill for your return trip. It's downhill on the way back!
